Below you will find a brief description of the LPI Group President Joe Seitz.

Joseph Seitz

Joe is the President of The Learning & Performance Improvement Group, LLC and has spent a 35 plus year career in the public and private sector analyzing programs and developing and implementing performance improvement initiatives. He has created and led a training and development organization designed to enhance and maintain the skills of 3200 employees in the areas of leadership development, employee development, and vehicle and equipment operations and maintenance; served as a State liaison between local, state, and federal government officials and rural and small urban transit systems to improve funding, manage expectations, and facilitate project implementation; and provided guidance and technical assistance to transportation programs throughout Maryland.

Nationally Joe has conducted seminars and served as a consultant to para-transit systems for vehicle and equipment procurement, business plan development and analysis, management certification, and safety and security training. He has also authored and co-authored articles and publications on vehicle procurement, and served on the federal para-transit vehicle testing committee. Joe was also featured in “Chief Learning Officer” and “Metro Magazine” for his work in changing learning and maintaining results.

Joe is a Certified Passenger Assistance Master Trainer and specializes in preparing Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Providers in meeting the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Joe has earned Master of Arts, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mass Communication.
